Being the Head teacher of the Sheepscombe School Community is a huge privilege and I would like to warmly welcome you to our school website.

At Sheepscombe we strive to provide the best quality teaching and learning for every child, every day and we value children's individuality within this. Our staff team are experienced, kind, creative and love their jobs.

We value our themed approach which help us bring learning to life and provide a rich and engaging learning experience. We combine this with Forest School in our beautiful setting to create a carefully constructed curriculum that meets and exceeds the requirements of the National Curriculum. All of our children regularly take part ina broad range of trips, experiences and themed days such as Apple Day which create a wonderful mosaic of shared experience and learning. Children achieve well and tell us they feel safe and happy and we prioritise well-being for all. We operate as an inclusive school family and do everything we possibly can together. We love to work alongside our parents and carers whose involvement in school is deeply valued.

Environmental sustainability is our passion and we promote and celebrate the golden threads of environmental responsibility and understanding through every curriculum area. We hope you enjoy looking at our website but the best way to find out who we are, and what we offer, is to come and look around. Visits are available at any time of the year, so do give us a call.

We encourage you to visit during the school day to see our children and staff at work and play. We are well staffed across our four-class school of approximately 65 children. We also offer an eight place 'Little Lambs' preschool each day for children aged three upwards. At the start of the day children enjoy our breakfast club and a wide range of After School clubs are available every day.
