There are so many different ways you can support FOSS.

“Dear parents and carers,

Friends of Sheepscombe School are organising some Halloween fun on Friday 23rd October, with the kind agreement of Mr Gardner. We wanted to give you advance notice so you have time to get costumes ready!

Children should wear school uniform as usual during the day. Those who would like to dress up can bring a costume to school in a named bag. They will change just before the Halloween-themed celebration assembly, with staff helping children in Merlin class.

After assembly, weather permitting, there will be a costume parade in the playground for parents and carers, followed by a Halloween bake sale. The sale will take place in the playground if it is dry, or in a Merlin classroom if it is wet. The bake sale will be cash only, so please bring some change! Everything will be wrapped up by 4pm.

We need at least six volunteer bakers for the bake sale to go ahead. If you can contribute cakes or other baked treats, please let Steph or Lucy know, or respond to the poll in the parents’ WhatsApp group.

Dressing up is entirely optional, and we look forward to a little Halloween fun together!

Best wishes,

Steph and Lucy
Friends of Sheepscombe School”
